[ 1 ]. WHY THE HIGH COST OF WEB REGISTRATION ?
It is estimated that there are more than 600 million websites globally ( US world domain agency report ). In other to stem the tide of increasing websites daily, giant software domain originators like Microsoft, Dell, Acer and High Power Windows, in a bid to discourage indiscriminate web registration ( some of which are irrelevant ) increased the standard web registration fee in accordance with the US standard policy of non-proliferation of websites ( 1998 ). This fee is passed down to the domain managers who in turn pass the burden of high web fee to prospective web owners. This is also worsened by the fact that there are no registered domain/web managers in Nigeria as of today.
We pay the web registration fee through the use of credit cards i.e online. The Dollar rate normally ranges from #129.9 to #133.5 depending on the foreign exchange and the earning power of the dollar.
For instance, when we register a PLATINUM DOMAIN webpage, we pay a flat fee of $1380.00 as the registration fee to the domain managers. When the Naira to Dollar is 129.9, we make a profit of almost #800.00 ( this value remains on our card ) but when the dollar to naira rate is 133.5, we lose more than #4,000 and thats why we charge a flat fee of #180, 000 to our esteemed customers for this domain. In cases of loss, we make up from the existing credit value on the card. We use the INTERCONTINENTAL BANK MASTER CARD a.k.a MAESTRO as it is acceptable in the UNITED STATES and 209 other countries accross the globe. The same principle applies to the GLOBALWATCH, WATERCOOPERHOUSE, GEMINI and QUARTZO domains with similar registration fees.
[ 2 ]. WHY IS THE DESIGNER FEE CONSTANT FOR ALL WEBSITE SPECIFICATIONS ?
You might be wondering why our designer fee remains constant for all types of website specifications. It is important to note that the quality and sophistication of any website depends on the tools that are supplied to the designer from the domain company which in turn depends on the cost and quality of the website to be registered and the number of webpages. A website will look sophisticated because of the tools that are supplied to the designer which in turn depends on the cost of the website and not because of the cost of designing hence we charge a flat fee of #80, 000.
N.B : The fee of #80, 000 we charge for any type of website is not the standard fee charged according to the stipulations and recommendations of the Licensed Web Designers Association of Nigeria ( LIWEDAN ). This is due to the fact that we are still in the bud and we are offering a sort of BONANZA to all our esteemed customers.

The update maintenance of a website is due to the drastic changes in the world wide web features and the updating and renewing of softwares that had been used or are to be used in keeping the website in standard acceptable form. A web update maintenance scheme comes in form of specialized softwares that are needed to upgrade a website. It is usually sent to the web designers from the domain managers at any time depending on the inventions of the software giants. Web update maintenance is also done to increase the website's ratings among other websites similar to it.
Website ratings i.e site ratings are the features that enables an internet searcher ( one who certainly does not have your web address ) to possess the probability of locating your website for what he/she wants.
